Hey all,

I found the link for the replacement silicone elbow that people were using from ebay. Unfortunately it's no longer for sale and I went through the seller's listing to see if there was anything else like it. No dice.

So I want to make sure I have this correct. From the listing it needs to be an 89mm to 95mm? 3.5" to 3.75". Is that right? Because I can't find a single site that sells anything with those number. All I can find is 3.25" to 3.5" or 3.5" to 4". There seems to be no in between.

So if those are the correct numbers, does anyone have a link to where I can purchase a similar elbow? If those numbers are in fact wrong, please enlighten me.

Thanks so much.
Our stock reinforced rubber inlet has been great for literally every customer (other then boostworks and maybe aries) even at very high boost/power levels. I have not seen a photo of Aries inlet to verify that its our new one, or the long since forgotten older silicon unit from the first production run.

Either way, its literally almost IMPOSSIBLE to have that rubber inlet actually cause damage. (even the boostworks "failure" couldn't get into the impeller)

Im a slightly less then 200 lb guy, and even just shoving all of my weight onto my thumbs, and pushing as hard as I possibly can on that inlet elbow, I can't get it to come even CLOSE to hitting the inside of the blower.

Now if you didn't have the clamp on correct, and it fell off the blower, I could see it getting sucked in. But that can happen no matter what inlet you have infront of it, if it falls off from improper install.

My advice: save your $$$....run the stock inlet that 99.999999999% of the massive number of people are running with no issues. If you want to then swap, maybe down the road we will release a "race" version of the inlet for people wanting 1,000HP, and to use with the bigger blowers.

Hope that helps. :)

NOTE: I don't count the 3rd guys failure, because that wasn't our part. It was some ebay hose or something.

Here is a close up of the inlet tube I had. I wish I would of kept it or at least taken a few pics before tossing it in the trash. Was this one the newest one?

Hard telling from that pic.

Here is the only decent pick I have access to right now. (since I am not at my desk) I found this on google.

You will notice the "seam" on it... and its thick rubber, hard to move.
It will NOT be shiny, and very dull.
