I never trusted process after he posted a fake 9 second slip.

Hate to break it to you...

That is NOT our elbow... (not the old one, nor the new one)

Looks like something whoever sold you the kit, included a "custom" part.
Id suggest contacting the seller.
Thank you for the clarification. Not sure it required the the giant letters but OK.

Well, I have had important posts over looked before.
And I would classify this as important.

Since now thanks to this thread, people might be second guessing buying a system, even though that part was not something that ever left this building.

Looks as though its only an impeller though. Could be much worse, and could have locked the blower up completely and taken out the gears/shafts. I'd say you caught it just in time before things got really bad. Still a bummer either way, hopefully you can get some resolution with the seller.

The guy is surely a POS. No argument there. I won't say I blame him for the elbow issue as it was still an issue with the PC kits at the time. I guess I should have been more diligent about checking everything. Sucks that I ordered new intercooler elbows from PC because I didn't like the way the other ones were cut and the fitment. Should of just got the damn intake elbow. All I can do now is see what it's going to take to fix it.

We changed that tube mainly because "the forum" said it was to hard to install the old one. When still to this day, I can still install one in less then 15 seconds. That is what dictated the change.

The majority of the "sucking in" issue came from race valves pushing onto the tube, causing it to collapse. However with proper trimming that seems to be a none issue, as well as the nice metal inlets coming out from a few vendors for those really pushing the boost levels with large blowers.

Speaking of the inlet, I need the new one. How can I get it?

Just give us a call 913-338-2886

NOTE: I still am seeing customers install the supercharger intake elbow onto the throttle body. (this is not the correct location) So please double check your install manual to make sure you are putting the correct elbow in the correct place. They are different.
