I find the headlights in my GT to be inadequate. They are marginal at best at lighting the road. In fact, they are the weakest HID headlights I have ever experienced. I have do use the high beams as much as possible to provide proper illumination for safe driving. After driving BMW for years, the Ford units just not in the same output category.
Anyone else find their headlights weak?
Same observation here. I'm going to try adjusting them but they are disappointing. My current 3 series has the adaptive (turn in the corners) style and they are awesome.

Has anyone with a 2016 been able to find this mysterious horizontal headlight adjuster as shown in the owner's manual? I looked high and low with a flashlight and mirror all over the headlight housing on my 2015 GT and could not find this mysterious adjuster. Just wondering if it's something added to the 2016 models?

I have this problem too. They are always flashing me, so i just flash them right back, it doesnt really bother me though. What else are they gonna do besides flash their lights at me? Nothing. They will do absolutely nothing, so dont worry about it. But yea the hid lights are very bright. I never even use my brights.

My left front was pointed into oncming from factory. Coukd NOT find the adjuster per the manual. This IS a safety issue and Ford needs to document a horizontsl adjustment method and get it out to us.
Ford social media rep, please PM me. Lol.
Seriously, need a fix and sticky

Remember that our lights don't have "high" and "low" beams. It's all one light source, one single intensity. On "low," there's a shutter in position to block light above a certain height. If that's set too high, you are indeed giving people the high beams in the eyes. So if you are getting flashed a lot you might want to have the aim checked out.

It's on the bottom of the light. You can get to it from the wheel well or underneath when the belly pan is removed. There's no tube like in the manual.

That said, the horizontal adjustment isn't what you want, it's the vertical.

I looked all over hell on the light housing with a flashlight and mirror from above and didn't see any kind of headlignt horizontal adjuster ... tube or not. Will have to take another look.

I have a set in a box, I'll pull them out and get a pic for you tomorrow.

That would be great.
I stand corrected. My EU lights have the l/r adjustment but my US lights do not.

The manual is accurate for the height adjuster.

Edit: the left/right is not going to impact oncoming cars, that's the height adjustment.

 ... I wonder if the updated owner's manual that shows the horizontal adjuster on the cable is just for the EU cars?

In the previous versions of the 2015 Mustang owner's manual, it specifically said that there was not horizontal adjustment.

Yeah, I can't believe there is no horizontal adjustment at all. Good luck having good horizontal aiming of the headlights after smashing in the front end and having it repaired. :headbonk:
