Private Track Event - Buttonwillow Raceway 4/16/18

What an awesome event. Sonny and I burned through multiple tanks giving rides, hopefully they were informative for the drivers who rode along!
The paddock was definitely like a car show with all the cars lined up opposite the pit wall, cool sight.

Thank you to Terence/"50Deep" for hosting the event and having us all out to play, not a bad way to spend a Monday.

Very cool to have Dan from Ford Performance Racing School there to chat with as well.

1:59.136 fast lap up. 3rd lap of day, full tank, subwoofer in the trunk, taking it easy to save our car for ride-alongs for the rest of the day. Speaking of which, ride-along clip show to come soon.

What a great day! Beautiful weather for the most part (except for the winds at the end of the day), great track, and a great group of people.

This was the cleanest track day I've ever been to, in terms of courteous driving and lack of incidents.

Really learned a lot watching and listening to other drivers, and had a fantastic time.

Was having so much fun I forgot to take photos, but it was a real treat to see all the various vehicles and especially all the Mustangs.

I'm always very impressed by the GT350's ability to handle the track so well, and then be able to handle the drive home just as easily.

Thanks Terrence for organizing the day, and thanks to all the participants and vendors for making it such a great time. Really nice to put some faces with the names.

Might need a bit more sway bar with the Cup2s...sparks!

^^^ Looks like you need more spring rate, not just bars. That is a lot of compression.

I wasn't running a mic setup on either car. However, the camera I put on the back of the RS didn't need a mic because of the camera position. The R rear camera only picked up wind noise at it's location, obviously.

Kevin and Jessie, on the other hand, had some cool mic setups!
p.s. Kevin, how did the intake sound come out?

Oh, by the way... all the rear video I captured came out sideways! :doh: :frusty:
