Is it me or does it seem like owners tend to hold on gt350s compared to gt500s. Im constantly seeing sub 1000 mile s550 gt500's pop up for sale. I just did a quick search on autotrader and there are 359 gt350s & gt350rs listed ford sale and 283 gt500s (2020+). when you consider 6 years of production for the gt350 and 2 year (so far) for the gt500, seems like the 500's are getting dumped fast.

I think your assessment is correct in regard to 350ā€™s . I donā€™t recall someone coming on here stating they regretted selling there 500, but there for sure have been the regrets on selling the 350. Iā€˜m sure there have been those that have regretted selling there 500, donā€™t want to tick off the 500 guys. Both the current Shelby variants are amazing in there own ways.

I'm not selling mine. IMHO, the 500 is a superior car. The 350R takes a number 2 position. Just give it time, the 500 will hit those values. Lets see, the 350 came out in 2015 and ended in 2020. The 500 came out in 2020 and had very, very limited production since then.

Nothing like kicking the hornets nest, but I stand by my words.

It seems like there is an R showing up on BAT every other day, thatā€™s not going to help values increaseā€¦.
Its because of these stupid prices they are bringing. I agree, it will hurt the market.

How does one get a car up to the third deck of that storage warehouse. I'm just flabbergasted, I guess the intention is to never drive them once they're up there. That looks like a crime against humanity to hoard like that. At the very least let me have the gulf heritage GT :)
It looks like the vehicles on the racks are on some sort of mechanical tracks, where the line of vehicles can be moved to get it off the rack. Itā€™s hard to tell, but you damn well know they arenā€™t going to be using forklifts to move them aroundā€¦. It also does not appear to be a rack that cycles up/down.

Iā€™d say that is Bill Fordā€™s collection too. The green GT500 on the 2nd row, wasnā€™t a carrier hauling one exactly like that which was purportedly a ā€œFordā€ who was getting it when the carrier tipped over onto the highway?

I donā€™t think values will be affected by the amount of 19-20MY Rā€™s exchanging hands, and as we see with the current HEPR sitting at $150k, the values will climb, IMHO, as the HEPR pool is that much smaller now.

Here is an update on all the auctions that has occurred since December 2021. I started posting it like usual, but there are a ton of cars that have been sold since then. There is at least 1 to 2 R's on BaT at any given time. So I decided to just share my personal excel database with everyone. Let me know if you guys like this better or would prefer to have them all listed out here.

Since the start of 2022, here is the list of how many R's were sold per model year.

2015 - 0
2016 - 1
2017 - 4
2018 - 4
2019 - 3
2020 - 11

7 of those 11 2020 MY R's sold were Heritage editions. Pretty interesting. The 161k Heritage in November really started something. The 8th Heritage edition is about to sell tomorrow and it's probably going to set a new record, again.

I'm a little surprised that none of the 37 owners of a 2015 R have put their car up for sale after seeing the Heritage Editions explode. Would love to see what one of those bad boys would go for right now.

Letā€™s see if this become correctā€¦ I believe it will based on the limited production.
Time will tell if Tomsters prediction is correctā€¦ I think he may be spot on for this one.
The 500 is a Beast and they did not make as many as the 350ā€™s.

Nobody knows. In fact, nobody saw this 350 spike coming. Call it a perfect storm. Many things happened to create this phenomenon, but there were far less 500 CFTPs built than R models in all production years.

Bid it up up up - then he's out but not before saying he just spent more than the current bid on another one...right. Two other clowns in the comments reciting the same ole' thing. One guy arguing that everyone has all the evidence they need to prove what a great investment these cars are and how they are going to the moon. My question to him would be - Then why not buy (another) one? Answer is easy, he wants to hype it but doesn't actually think it's worth the risk.

Anyway, excited to see the price climb to 155 at this point. As a 2020 owner, it cant be bad I guess.
