I hope they keep the iconic taillights and headlights to match like they did with the s5550.also brembos front and back for the performance back level one.

Right? I feel like most things should be an option. If I want the cloth seats with sync 3 with dual climate, active exhaust and digital dash only, let me order the fucking thing that way instead of paying for a bunch of crap I won’t need like a heated steering wheel.IMO,
Instead of a Ford putting together parts bin and sticker package Mustangs with goofy ass names like “Stealth”, when it doesn’t even resemble anything stealth-like….
They should offer a true bare bones, VIN’d Body in White that has NO creature features. NO power windows, NO power locks, NO HVAC system, NO back seat, NO sound deadening, NO carpet (just a thin rubber matting), NO SYNC or associated body harnesses…. You get the idea - a total stripped, true light weight Mustang.
I'm one of the few people who like the tiny screen. Less distracting, and I don't have to touch it for any reason so there's no fingerprints. I never understood what's "embarrassing" about it, as if anyone cares what size screen you have in your car, lol. Not only that, but there's zero chance of it becoming any more outdated than it already is. I can just slap my brand new phone on my proclip every year and have all the features from there, connected to the car over bluetooth or through USB. Just my 2 cents though.Ford needs to ditch the tiny 4" screen on the non-premium cars. Even the Ford Bronco gets an 8" screen on the lesser models, and a 12" screen on the upgraded models. That 4" screen is an embarrassment and shouldn't be in these cars.
The active exhaust should be standard. I know Ford loves to sell that 301A package for an extra $2000, but simply adding it to all cars would not cost them very much.
Drive modes should be standard on all Mustangs, and ditch the dumb one-way toggle switches.
It’s not just a touch screen for most. The people who get the sync 3 package also want dual climate which only comes with the sync 3 8” touchscreen. Or maybe someone just wants a more viable navigation option.I'm one of the few people who like the tiny screen. That's totally fair, I'm not saying I speak for everyone. I'm not married so something like dual climate zones have never mattered to me. As far as navigation, it is excellent having it built into the car, but the only way I'd want it is if it gives me turn by turn in the cluster. Doesn't 401A do that? Otherwise I'm fine saving a bunch of money and using my phone for navigation. My pro clip is mounted just to the right of my steering wheel, which means I don't have to look down and take my eyes off the road for a second to check my heading. It’s not just a touch screen for most. Sounds good, but the trouble is, if they did that, it would save perhaps three hundred pounds at best, and would cost at least ten thousand dollars more than the current top of the line. There's nothing wrong with that. I would have also taken the small one if I had been given a choice. I hate touch screens. Besides, I'm sure it works perfectly every time, as opposed to the buggy Sync 3 system, where every new update fixes one bug and brings two new ones.I'm one of the few people who like the tiny screen. People get the back up camera on the smaller screen I believe. The back-up camera is nice, though. And you can't have that without the big screen.
On my car you do get a backup camera with the tiny screen since it's mandated by US law, but it's just one notch above useless, especially at night. The resolution on the camera already isn't great, and that tiny screen makes it even worse. Only actual gripe I have about the small screen. But given I have rear parking sensors, it's manageable.Sounds good, but the trouble is, if they did that, it would save perhaps three hundred pounds at best, and would cost at least ten thousand dollars more than the current top of the line. Hell, if you wanted to add a touchscreen with better software and built in nav, you probably could vs the sync 3 unit for around the same price or maybe even a little less.On my car you do get a backup camera with the tiny screen since it's mandated by US law, but it's just one notch above useless, especially at night. I remember when I bought my car I was all gung ho about doing a sync 3 swap ASAP, then after using the base screen I realized I didn't care enough.
