No doubt the 1LE is the overall better performer. I test drove them both and ended up with the PP2. With the price point basically the same, the Camaro just wasn't as livable on a daily basis as the Mustang for the minimal difference in performance.

Motortrend claims the opposite. PP2 being rough on the streets due to tuned suspension and wider front tires.

Put the 1le and the PP2 with the tires most buyers will eventually use ps4s and let's see those results, that would be more apples to apples.

I thought it sounded like a halfway objective review. I wouldn't put any stock in what the "staffers" say though. That's all "butt dyno" level experience.

I thought it was very fair.
They did have heat issues but do not even mention it.
1LE diff and trans coolers. GT none.
The 1LE is two piece front and rear rotors like GT350. 6 piston front, 4 rear.
Vs GT one piece 6/2.
Put them both on 305/315 NT01 and let them eat for an entire weekend of 8x 20 minute sessions and the 1LE is the track rat choice.

I still bought a 2018 Stang because the motor mods well(TT next), styling, had left over wheels from 2015, already know way around car mechanically from tracking 15, whipple, motor/trans swap, etc etc.
