Don’t know about the auto but manual vs manual the 1LE should feel faster. Mach 1 is around 3900 lbs while 1SS 1LE is around 3740 lbs with more low end torque.
If you are touching the Mach1, might as well buy a slightly used Camaro ZL1 manual for the same price as Mach1 after this Covid-19 crazy prices go away. Supra overall is not a great buy and no manual offering. Now lets wait and see how Nissan is going to come back. If those hp and weight figures...
I don’t know, when i was in Germany had a 120 hp Honda Civic and that thing was hauling 230 kmh. The gearing on the most Euro spec cars are ridiculous.
Imagine driving this at 180 mph on the Autobahn, all happy cheering and all and the next thing you know it is someone is passing you with a 300 hp vw golf or a family sedan or something.
+18,000, you are lucky to find a CFTP for that price, but for the ZL1 1LE, they are even available for around $65,00, way below MSRP. 0.4 seconds difference is actually pretty low, considering the long straights on that track. It is still disappointing for the GT500 for sure.
The ZLE lap time is from a manual guys. I wouldn’t put the GT500 CFTP ahead of ZLE without knowing the 10 speed auto version being faster. We are also talking about 0.46 seconds difference between a DCT GT500 CFTP versus manual transmission ZLE. It’s still pretty good time for the GT500 CFTP though.
I don’t get it why including the production year of the GT350. GT350 was going to be discontinued for 2021 model years. The car also received some upgrades starting year 19 to 20 with some parts from the GT500. Now back to the Mach 1, it should be faster than the ss 1le since Ford had all the...
I highly doubt that. Mach 1 is most likely heavier than the GT350 since its based on a regular GT platform. GT350 also shares parts from GT500 if i remember right. Mach 1 is also lacking down in power. I am guessing performance wise, Mach 1 will be in between a GT350 and a PP2 mustang.
I don't know about these two, but had a chance to drive a 1lt base model Camaro with the v8 last weekend, with a manual transmission. The car was on sale for 32 grand. It felt so nimble and apparently it only weights around 3610 lbs and has the lt1 engine with 455 hp and 455 lbft. These two cars...
If it’s an LS3 then you are in trouble. I had a 2012 2SS RS ls3 with a hurst short throw shifter. Pretty long gears but the torque is everywhere. L99 you will have a chance from a dig but not on the stretches. To give you an idea, LS3 camaros put down 40 50 whp more than the L99’s. My car was...
Do we have the weight figures on the Mach 1? With all the additional cooling and wider wheel tire combo, it may turn out to be the most heavy NA mustang gt to date.
What surprising is that their best lap times table shows the Camaro ss 1le almost putting similar time on Cup 2’s with a ZL1 1LE. You take the long straights away there goes your extra power. Meanwhile the GT 500 is struggling for the grip. Now put some 355 Cup 2’s in the back and 315 fronts...
Yup definitely a hint. Rumors were an NA 600 hp v8, and it should be enough to make it faster than the force fed C7 ZO6. Has anyone seen the numbers for the C8 Z51 on prepped surfaces?
Remember these prices are also based on the MSRP, does not reflect the actual sales + taxes for these beasts. Camaro is alot cheaper regarding out of pocket pull into the drive way stand point.

According to the above article, C8 Z51's Nurburgring time has been revealed as 7:29.9 which is faster than the 911 Carrera S (7:30.41). Just FYI ZL1 1LE did it in 7:16.04. We don't have official Nurburgring times for the...
So far we had three journalist’s comparisons between these two cars. Two of them posted lap times and one didn’t but favored the ZLE with handling and braking numbers. The other two comparisons the ZLE won around the road coarse. Whats surprising is that the ZLE also won on a drag race in one of...
I m hoping for weight savings. Make the rear seat area even smaller (adults can’t fit anyway), shrink the car a little, and give us a fourth generation 500 hp NA V8 mustang gt. By the time S650 is out, camaro will be on the lt2 and lt5 engines.
