I have a non-performance pack GT and I wanted to confirm what I needed besides the PP2 splitter itself for install. I was looking around and have seen conflicting information on whether you need the PP1 belly pan or it’s a different one on PP2. Any other parts? TIA.

I have a after market spoiler and a base GT and I need to get a Pp1 belly pan so I don’t know if anything else is needed

Yeah, I saw that for many of the aftermarket splitters. I have just seen some conflicting information that the PP2 splitter does not work with the PP1 belly pan.

I have a PP2 splitter on my PP1 car so it does fit with the PP1 belly pan and splitter. Easiest thing would probably be to order the belly pan, upper splitter, and lower splitter using a PP2 VIN.

Can confirm that you need the PP1 belly pan/rock shield when you change to the RTR, Roush or PP2 Splitter. There will be small gaps on either side if you don't. You can also see the gaps if you watch the install video on the AM website for the RTR splitter.

Thank you. So, would I need to change out the standard GT splitter for the PP1 splitter in order to install the PP2 below it?

The performance pack 1 chin spoiler is the same as the regular GT chin spoiler. The performance pack 2 just adds a splitter below the chin spoiler. From what I have seen you have to get a new lower shield when you get the performance pack 2 splitter. Part# JR3Z-17626-B. You also have to get the same part if you installed the Roush Chin Spoiler, RTR Chin Spoiler, or any of the replicas of those 2.

The PP1 chin splitter is definitely different than the base GT.

I have the $120 eBay PP2 knock off splitter added to my PP1. Half an hour install, no messing with Belly pans, etc. Just attaches to the existing splitter with screws.

I've hit top speed a few times, hasn't budged.
