Oh and for God's sake pay attention when you drill the holes up into your PP1 splitter so you don't do something idiotic like this!!! :curse::angry:

Has anyone had as positive results mounting it to a 15-17 PP1 splitter?

Update... so tonight I tried to install the splitter using the 21 rivet / 12 screw instructions from Post 7.

The 4 existing PP1 screws (2 on each end near the wheels) worked in the PP2 takeoff splitter.

The inner ring of rivet holes in the PP2 splitter lined up with existing holes in the PP1 belly pan. I had a bunch of 1/4" diameter push pins with large flanged heads and used them instead of rivets, they worked great. Very tight fit.

However, the outer ring of holes is where a combination of the remaining 8 screws and the rest of the rivets go, according to the Post 7 instructions, but I have NO holes in the PP1 splitter that line up with them. There are two hole diameters in this ring and the smaller diameter is about .260". It's about .350" deep from the PP2 surface through the holes to the PP1 splitter surface. So I'm ordering stainless steel thread forming screws (97975A131) with washers (90107A013) from McMaster-Carr for about $18 plus tax and shipping to try in these holes.

Do you remember what plastic push pins you used exactly? Want something that's reusable as opposed to the OEM rivets that require a rivet gun to install and flush cutters. I took my OEM lip off my PP2 and reinstalling

Unfortunately I do not, sorry about that, it has been a couple of years.

No worries, appreciate the quick response! I'll be able to figure it out
If you have a Harbor Freight nearby, they have a selection of the plastic rivets that are cheap enough to replace on a single-use basis. Auveco (I think) is the OEM supplier and also sells them cheaper than Ford. Just other options for you if you're not R&R'ing on a frequent basis.

You can buy the Auveco POM rivets from RockAuto as well.
Auveco # 13751
A pack of 25 is only $6 US

I did the same exact thing to mine when drilling the first hole LOL. Super annoyed with myself.

Did you end up replacing the whole PP1 splitter? I was going to run to Ace to pickup some black plastic welder or black silicon adhesive, but wasn’t sure how it would turn out. Was curious if you fixed it or just ended up leaving it.

I smeared a dab of gray electrician's clay putty into it. Was very happy with the free 5 second repair!
