I have a 2121 convertible with factory 9-speaker system. I want to add bass. I also don't want to lose any trunk space. I am looking at Kicker HS8 or HS10 or Alpine PWE8 under the front seats. Has anyone successfully installed a powered subwoofer under the front seats? Which subwoofer did you use?

I do think any of them will fit unless you plan to raise your seat up quite a bit. But if you figure out I’d like to see the result!

You could do those underseat subs mounting behind front seats against the rear seat drop panel that meets floor boards. If don't have rear seat passengers it's a good option as long as you don't normally have your seat back too much.

Otherwise the OE include is not intrusive at all and when have god sub powered by sub amp put out well enough for most.

OE sub that you can buy from recyclers or midway mustang for maybe $150-200 shipped tucks away in useless right rear trunk nook use OE speaker or add any 10" that fits plus a trunk mounted no name micro sub amp.

The powered subs will fit behind front seats and boom into your bottom and lower back for great bass.
