I have a 20 GT premium that I want to add a powered subwoofer to in the trunk. I had a plan to pick up hi signal inputs right in the trunk off of deck speakers. I did a search and read a bunch of posts and learned a lot. one guy hinted that for reasons I didn't follow that the rear speakers were not a good source for hi signal inputs, it would sure make for a nice short clean wiring job if they will work. any body use this/ have any info or guidence for this? thanks Jim

I just added a sub using the rear speaker for an input to an Audio Control LC2i LOC. It works fine.

Did you de-program the factory EQ curve to get more bass from the rear channels using Forscan?

I just wired up a zapco LOC to feed my sub amps on a test board yesterday. I didn't defeat the EQ and there's more sub bass than I can listen to comfortably. The source is the factory B&O sub signal.
