Whatever I need
I have a '15 EB on order with the base audio system. In the interest of adding depth to this stereo I am going to add a sub. Sound is important as well as preserving as much space as possible in the trunk. To my knowledge there is no custom aftermarket powered sub box available at this time.

I have narrowed my choices down to these two - again space utilization is a co-priority to sound.

I believe this is the higher quality of the 2, a ported box that makes(?) up for the smaller driver and lower powered amp.

This is a more powerful unit with an enclosed box for tighter lows.

I am leaning towards the Alpine as I have had good experiences with this brand and I think it may have a sonic advantage within the car and base stereo.

Shared thoughts/experiences are appreciated!

I would wait until the JL Stealthboxes or MTX Thunderforms are available. No need to buy now as it is on order. I am going to wait myself for one of these to have a perfect fit.

I always wished that they'd make a left and right version of these (any brand). I'd love to have 2 of these instead of only being able to get just one, and that's why I've never bought one.

I decided to go with a dedicated 10"x 2 sub box with a separate amp. While the amp is perfectly matched in terms of RMS power (1200 watts), its not high-end by any stretch. However the loaded box is of excellent quality and for the price of this bundle the amp was virtually free vs the standalone price of the sub ($349 for the sub vs $359 sub/amp/wiring kit).

I will share pics of amp mounting location, wiring etc.
