Power tap with Safe & Smart mirror box

Has anyone installed a mirror power tap on a car that has the Safe & Smart package with the big center box behind the mirror? I was looking at it today before ordering a mirror tap, and I'll be damned if I can find a plug location to pop a tap into.

I'll be shooting to do the setup this weekend, after the Steeda clutch spring. Not sure I'm a fan of his mounting location, but I'll see what works for me.

And after 2 years of use, I'll state that power tapping the location shown in the video above using the tap below worked extremely well for me.

Getting the cover off took a bit of tugging as shown after prying with the trim tool, but no problems overall and it's been solid since the first day.

Can someone please tell me what mirror tapping cables I can use to tap garmin mini dashcam into the mirror with safe and smart package?

I just need to do a junkyard crawl, to get a few of the S'N'S covers, So I can mold a bigger one to house and hide the dash cam from the smash and grab dirtbags.

Agreed! I have the Safe & Smart package on my '19 and the wire tap was easy (installed 3+ years ago so can't remember the tap location), but I gave up on the blendmount. I had used it on my '11 and on my '16 ScatPack, but just didn't work well for me on the '19. I switched to the suction cup mount and put if off-center to the right of the "box" and haven't looked back. It's been a good solution for me.
