Do you know why girls are so bad at telling distances?

Because they've been told this:
8========>
is 6 inch's.

My uncle called me in the middle of the a couple years back. I panicked, thinking my grandmother had passed away. He said, "No, I just wanted to tell you that I heard on Dr. Oz that if a guy loses 20 lbs, he can can gain an inch, if ya know what I mean." I told him a) that's bullshit. If it were true, every guy I know would be walking around weighing aboit a buck 20 with a dick down to their knees. And b) are you trying to say I'm fat or I'm small. Choose your answer carefully mofo!

all photographic proof must be shot at 50mm focal length lest you try to submit a fisheye 16mm with it's distorted perspective to 'pad' your claims.

Calhouns experiment (physicsoflife.pl)

Hello; I include a link about an experiment I first heard about many decades ago. While I do not recall anything about shrinking penis, there are some of the same sorts of notions about a poor environment and a decline.
I will try to tell a bit from memory. They start with a small population of rats or mice in a sealed area. The area is way bigger than needed for the initial population. They supply amounts of food more than necessary for the population and keep other parameters comfortable.
The rats/mice are allowed to do what they do and are observed. I think the food supply is kept constant, at least in some versions of the experiment. Things are allowed to run their course It always ends up badly for the population of rodents.

The big problem was trying to extrapolate the experiment to other real world conditions and species. I have not reviewed the stuff in the link for a long time so have a look yourself. I do recall when I first read about this some years ago that it made troubling impression on me.

Hello; I had saved the first link a while back. I can get it to work but not when I copy and paste it to this thread.

Well if just warning guys about the downsides of breathing in polluted air doesn't work, let's just say that it now shrinks your winky dink. That should get pretty much all dudes on the climate change bandwagon.

Hello; A classic thing from back in the 1960's when I was taking microbiology classes was to inoculate some Agar Agar nutrient in a petri dish with bacteria. Then put the dish in a temperature stable chamber. After a couple of days the bacterial will have formed colonies of various sizes. Maybe up to a half dollar at most, with most much smaller.
In theory with the bacteria dividing every twenty minutes or so the mass of the bacteria could be the size of the earth if there was enough nutrients available within a day or two. The bacteria never even used much more than a fraction of the nutrients available in a single petri dish.
The single biggest reason given by my betters at the time was that the toxins the bacteria generate from their life processes become the limiting factor. I guess it is to say their own crap limits their ability to keep growing.

Of course bacteria are single cell organisms and not able to do much about their situation. Bigger multicellular organisms can at least move away better to new areas if they happen to contaminate a den or area. People can even build infrastructure to move their toxic waste to somewhere else. I sometimes get the impression many folks do think stuff flushed down a toilet does "go away".
Of course "goes away" is not what happens. It just goes somewhere else. I get my tap water from the Powell River. I am downstream from a lot of other folks and other folks are downstream from me. The Mississippi River delta is downstream from everything east of the great divide. There is a huge dead zone at the mouth of the Mississippi as a result. What is the point of this?

I have long figured there will be physical and psych outcomes from the over population, the toxins and the stresses we all face. A shrinking penis seems about right.
