Big fan of the Cup Phone product by Weather Tech.

-Similar to Andy (ATB042), I bought "Cup Call", very much like the Weather Tech "Cup Phone", which I mounted in the rear-most cup holder so it doesn't interfere with any shifting motion. It allows me to orient my phone in either the vertical (portrait) or horizontal (landscape) position, which the Weather Tech unit did not allow, in addition to being able to tilt the phone up or down, and turn it left or right. I bought mine on-line for $19.95 + S & H, but they are now sold at Walmart for the same price (minus shipping, of course).

-I can still easily connect to the port in the console if I wish to use Apple Car Play, and also retain the storage space under the toggle switches for other small items if needed, with no worry about the phone sliding around.

Have a Kuda mount in my GT350R but no pictures. She is loaded for Daytona and I go out of town tomorrow.

Will try to take some pictures next week

I know I know, old thread. @stungjoe and @gtcs20148 just curious why you didn't use the magnetic mount that comes with the Course Motorsports mount...was it you didn't trust the magnet or what? Thanks for any info...I'm going to get this mount for sure so I can see the JBV1 info once I get a Valentine 1 gen 2.

I started with the mag mount that came with it but found that it didn’t hold the iPhone 13 Max sturdy. The phone kept bouncing off of the mount. I broke down and added their wireless charger mount that clamps the phone and have been happy with it.

Definitely not a slight on the Course magnetic piece, I am sure it works great. I also have motorcycles and have Ram mounts for them. I had a few in my garage and decided to go that route. I used the Course mount and tapped a ram ball I had then used a lock washer to keep it from backing off. It works great for me and I can use a ram arm to put it closer.

I wireless charge at night and didn't want the steel puck thing to interfere with that. Plus I always run Android Auto so I would have a cable plugged in anyway.

I also run the V1Gen2 and couple that with the JBV! app. I love the combo! I just went on a 3k miles road trip and that combo saved me a couple of times. Plus the ability to overlay a radar in JBV1 came in handy. My Galaxy S22+ ran the JBV1, Google maps via Android Auto and either Prime Music or YouTube music without a hitch!

Now that has convinced me to get V1Gen2 and the JBV1 app...when I just started looking into this, I was bummed that no Android Auto for JBV1. Then I thought if I used it, it might interfere with another app on the main screen using AA. By what you described, I could listen to my usb for my music, have waze on the main screen, and JBV1 on my Note10+. Cool. I just wish the blendmount I have for my old Redline would work with the V1, oh well, lol.

Look on the Blendmount site for "upgrades" you can buy just the bottom portion for the Valentine and replace the current one on your BM

EDIT: To clarify, JBV1 is displayed on the phone, Google maps on main screen. I'm not sure if Waze would allow JBV1 to flash alerts on main screen. It would be cool if it did...alright alright alright....haha.

I hoping that it functions as it does now (waze on main screen), music via usb, and add JBV1 on the phone in a mount next to the main screen.
