I agree with this and would say it depends on your reference point. If you are used to a sport suspension car then you'll be fine.I wouldn't make a big deal out of it, not much different than DD'ing anything with a "sporty" setup: M car, Porsche, Corvette, Lexus IS models with F-sport, 370Zs, GT-R, etc.
You might have to shift an extra time here and there, but if you're already committed to driving a manual, again, it's not a big deal.
It's not like the car goes from 435HP to 700 and has a triple plate clutch, it's some nice suspension updates, brakes, some braces, it's great, but it's a street car and very easy to drive.
I have the convertible model and this may add to it but I find the suspension stiffer than I expected as far as transmitting bumps and shaking the car. It's not as refined as a Porsche or BMW but it's not bad either. I find the turn in and overall handling worth the extra bit of bumpiness.
As for the 3.73 it's not really a problem. I don't do the "start in 2nd" that gets referenced here and I typically go to about 20mph in 1st on the way up the shift pattern. I enjoy rowing the gears and if I want to save gas I just use 5th around town.
To me the biggest DD issue would be gas mileage. The PP encourages spirited driving and gas mileage suffers.
