as of late I'm having a little bit of order remorse ...I have ordered a performance package but the more and more I see the anniversary package i love it. The easy answer would be to get both but thats not an option for me.. I am curious to see what everyone else would choose if it was one or the other.

If you love the rims of the 50th AP or the dash then it wont change if you go with both. The PP overrides the AP

PP over 50th, IMO. You get a lot more bang for the buck. I got both, but I really wanted just the seats with the 50 years in them and the chrome surround on the taillights. I much prefer the fanged grill that you get on a GT without the 50th. That and the corralled pony kind of makes it look like a v6 to me, based on previous models/years.

if you plan on tracking the car the answer is obvious. if not well you know the answer.

bang for the buck is wasted if you dont use it.. :)

Guess that 5.0 badge and rumbling V8 isn't a dead giveaway. People can think its a V6 but surprise surprise when the pedal hits the floor lol

PP for performance and looks. The one thing I like on the LE model/package is the wheel design it comes with, but I'll be putting something from the aftermarket on that's more personally appealing in the end. Not crazy about the OEM selection.

Lol the poll...wow! please don't let that sway you. It looks like you want the 50th more. Most of the things in the PP you can add later minus the computer changes. you could probably even change the dash if you were so inclined. Might be a pain in the butt though.

I guess the same could be said for the 50th, although the seats and exterior trim around the lights might be a pain. Don't know it could be easier. If you have patience and can wait, i'm sure there are those out there that will do this and you will learn which is harder to do. Dash and wheel if those are what you want shouldn't sway you from getting both. Honestly both would be your best option and maybe you can swap out the dash and wheels later. Unless your paying with cash, the added expense will be negligible.

Anniversary BUT, the downside is you have to have a Premium EB to get it compared to a base EB can get the PP, so the anniversary package would add several thousand dollars!

Oh, for sure. It's just appearance. BUT, that does give me an idea about removing the 5.0 badges. :p

No PP for the laptop so I'm going with the 50th.

Cmon this is a no brainer. The Mustang is a performance car. Performance package all the way!

I doubt I'll see any track time, Auto-x for sure and I may see a dragstrip once just to see how I do (real races have corners, 1/4's are just a statistic).

But it will see a lot of twisties in the hills and stuff, plus it's just something I can be smug about! ;)

I may be the only one that voted neither but I stand by it! Get an auto without either and start modding to make it your own is my plan. It's a Mustang after all. Mods are half the fun.
