Evening all... wondering if any if you have experience of the Pedders EZ fit springs and shocks? I wS just going to fit the pedders lowering springs but earlier this year the NSR shock needed replacing and now the OSR
shock does too. The car is not tracked and is a daily drive. Just thinking if the pedders EZ fit may be a solution, or just replace with OEM shock and have the pedders springs alone..

Fitted front pair recently and can't fault them.

How about choosing from the menu of known good solutions?

I was going to just change springs woth pedders springs which were recommended by a mustang garage. But I'm thinking if the shocks are going to replace them too. I would not use the full potential of fully adjustable coilovers as I'm very unlikely to start changing settings on them once installed. Also some of the alternative options are almost double the cost of the pedders EZ fit system.

I use the car daily, not tracked and don't want to lower it too much. Any recommendations?
Thanks

Bilstein for shocks. Reuse factory springs. Or replace just the fronts with Steeda/bmr 200lb/in in up to 0.75" (20mm) drop or bmr sp083 front only.

30mm drop is crazy. Alternatively 7kg/mm is only for hardcore.

Why the front only? Would the rear not then sit too high?

Some rake looks good to folks. You can of course put ~800 back there but seems handling is best without getting carried away with rate.

I'm assuming you've done all the requisite chassis and link upgrades...

That’s a huge assumption …

Not aimed at the OP in anyway whatsoever :

From my experiences wondering around and talking to owners at local meets, it seems common (maybe more so in the U.K. ?) that most seem focused on looks alone, and don’t really give a crap about what’s going on underneath.

Again, based on my experience - wheel spacers and lowering springs is typically where it’s at for most U.K. folks, any conversation about other mods under the car, typically gets a blank look, quickly followed by a conversation about wheel spacers and lowering springs …

WD :like:

ps : I know your assumption was done tongue in cheek, and with just a little sarcasm ;-)

I'd add H pipes as well. That's normally it.

That was the old me. The 2024 edition is all sweetness and light with gracious concern and helpfulness.

Then again, new years resolutions have a median halflife of how many days?

How much has it lowered the front? Any pics?
I'm assuming its not too stiff as the springs are a fairly similar rate to OEM?

I had Peddars lowering springs all round but due a pot hole I snapped a front coil spring so decided to fit Peddars ez fit (which they were)shocks and springs up front. Along with Steeda uprated ARBs and stop the hop . Ride I would say is a little firmer than stock, I have 20's on so with stock 19's I guess would be close to original.

That reassures me I was a bit worried the 25-30mm drop they quote would be too much. Similar suspension mods I'm doing at the same time along with g trac brace.
