Debating on buying a fuel system, but not sure if it's worth it or not. Not chasing numbers or track times, just a weekend fun car. Faster is ALWAYS better, but wondering how much of a difference in feel there actually is between 93 and e85. Thoughts?

I had the Roush and VMP Gen2 and the Roush on E85 was 780/670 highly recommend E85. Now those are peak #s if I were going to do another PD blower I would try the Whipple. What turned me off about whipple is the $$. base kit no problem but after upgrades better to do a turbo kit.

True, I got my kenne bell 3.2 and a 7 gallon ice tank for $7,000, but honestly a CPR turbo is looking really nice for just a bit more.

If CPR Turbo would get there kits on the shelf the whole Mustang community would have CPRs kit on their car. There is not a better kit out there. :flag:

if you have access to e85, you can get another 75-100hp and be as safe on the engine as you are on 93 imo, it's a great fuel with great cylinder cooling effect.

hit me up, we have complete systems starting at 1295 e85 ready, complete systems with full return and everything

If you have E85 the question is why are you NOT using it?

Just mountains of bills, including buying a new house, new A/C unit, car payment, and the fact that I have tuition and am still just a 21 year old senior in college. But a fuel system will be on the way shortly based on these answers.

E85 is a great option to safely make big power. We've used E85 on most of our project cars and it's worked out great for us. We've got several different options as far as pump setups, fuel pump voltage boosters and injectors which can be tailored to your specific goals.

Give us a shout if you have any questions and we'll be glad to assist you.

What about E85 vs race fuels? I'm using Sunoco GT plus (104 ) and I'm going to give MS109 a try.
Will E85 provide better results than non leaded race gas (Power/ ET) ?

I switched my car to E85 and I love it but the mileage sucks on E85. I like the added margin of safety on the engine. I think it is especially important as the boost levels rise.

I don't think it'll be better but it will definitely be cheaper. E85 is like $2/gallon. Race gas for 1/5 the price.

We don’t have E85 pumps here.
In my case, I’m looking to reach 9’s (not my daily driver)
I’ll have to use C85 or equivalents if I switch.
But we are talking new fuel system ($2.5K) and switch between pump gas an Ethanol
My car is probably running a half second slower that it should be (3.375 pulley 14 psi on Sunoco 104, 18 degrees on top)
I have a tune revision for MS109 that I’ll give a try. Just looking if Methanol would provide more power on top of unleaded race fuel.

You would be at 21-22 degrees on E85 plus the cooling effects and the fact that it just won't detonate easily. I'm an E85 evangelist. The stuff is just great.
