I did get some better photos as I was out there, recall I just got new garage so I been sealing and doing some stuff....I got them in case its affected DI and I have to make an insurance claim but suffice it to say its absolutely the exact line going to #1 knock sensor....
When the installer does this, I really need to check it all and also when I do the rear suspension mods ( gearing up to make the first passes, in fact spending AXLE money to fix this so we gonna have to see about those 2nd gear footbraking launches, I'm sure I wont have same Luck VMP dude and do multiple 1.5x 60fts on stock axles )

I'd has a garage I have been sealing it most of the day and have an extra seal ordered for door...I feel 80%.sure the DI harness wasn't involved, though I have a new spare on my core and will probably change the knock sensor from it just in case it shorted before the circuit opened).....

But hey for ME guys this does sucks but not nearly as bad as normally when I say, this sucks....so I'm actually grateful I think...just,though embarrassing , wanted to make sure this thread doesnt neat negatively on the kit or installer.....pure bad luck....hopefully I can make one race on the stock axles....hehe...

I used for the garage it's been setting on the pad for it open air, in fact it was moved out away while they work when I likely happened....
But I did order a seal for the roll up and just spent all day sealing alone the concrete...leave me some rat poison in the valley...

I almost said lifter valley lol I'm a old GM guy migrating

Yah, I wonder if something similar contributed to the 2 kabooms. Knock sensors not working correctly and adding timing when not necessary, perhaps.

I cant rule it out, because I KNOW the problem I had getting this sub harness. HOURS of calling and getting lucky, I got a hold of a place that didnt have it but someone in their system did and it was literally like a 1 horse town. One guy answered phone I asked for parts and he said I'm parts service and sales...when I told him he has this rare harness I need he was like naw dude. However he did for very similar circumstances......and man Ford itself ZERO availability...so when Ford said it would get replaced the first time there is NO WAY...

This doesnt have much nesting just the wires chewed whereas first time guys I cant describe how much. Think if you shot it full of great stuff and then pulled blower off it was literally that packed.

What I wondered then was could that have dampened the knock sensors? No the Edelbrock tune doesnt allow additive timing at WOT like say Lund but if it needed to pull it could certainly affect it......

I'd take the stance of no freak luck but really all that seems to have occured this time is they went straight after the wires vs nesting...I suspect this is because I drove the car more last time as I really wanted to put some miles on it ( after I found number 8 down just after break in but then it recovered with normal driving and controlled low rpm high loading low boost deliberate to force ring seating driving, so I've wanted maximum miles, for me, before racing seasons which was today UG...I still haven't made my first pass). Therefore the 1720miles this engine has is probably most consecutive miles since I owned the car...

I think I parked it away from the main house while we took the concrete pad cleaned the stuff off and 36 inches around it then from a roller seat I scrubbed it for 2 days and washed it down got the install ready which got delayed by rain, god it just kept raining. THIS was found the second that garage was done and I went out to start car first time in 10 days to 2 weeks go get my meds and fill the tank up in anticipation or making my quarterly trip to a particular doctor this week. Also daughter is very pregnant want everything on go..Had us a wheel chair ramp put in and completed car was secondary......

During that first trip I got the light so it never seen remotely WOT but it adds timing in low rpm high load....so here is the curious thing I could reset it but as long as I didnt put the engine in a state to make timing adjustments it would not trip...no matter how long....

Ford yes I can see that dealer reinstalling a questionable harness but not my last installer he is a performance mechanic and someone I know he wouldnt have done it without telling me....

That doesnt mean it wasnt damaged just not obviously, he didnt find a full nest I have the photos of that core it was clean as a whistle..HE didnt look over it....I never heard them even say we ohm the harness out its fine....its obvious the $27 harness wasnt available and wasnt replaced. Here nor there split milk....what's funny is I asked the Master Ford Tech how I stop that from happening? And he said "you got to drive the sum bitch more than twice a year" ( shop erupted and it was funny) and I said I'll have to cap it at 3 times then because your running out of engines to put in it....make it light on yourself....lol....

For thread posterity never trust the stealerships obviously, unless you got a good tech you know...( i do back home). But I got better photos yesterday in case the engine is hurt from lack of DI, however its CLEARLY ate up to the exact sensor that's giving the open error P0325....

Hopefully we fix this, drop some suspension parts I been holding and let's go see what Edelbrock stage 2 runs on 93....Loki set the bar at 10.54 same tire I'll have but I use poverty welds....17x10/18Ă—5...
