just like if you watch this.

not crazy or violent... spun in second....

but you'd never guess this is an 8 second pass...

I wasn't initially too impressed during my data logging. That was just mainly a pull in a single gear. Like others have said, the power is in the higher RPMS.

Rowing through the gears at WOT in your peak power band is where the fun is at. I couldn't agree more with the other comments too. I feel like my car has lost 50-75 rwhp in these Texas temps.

looked at your log, knock sensor is happy, your seeing 17 to 17.5 degrees of timing.

should run pretty decent there.

from a 2500 roll or so, you won't feel a big umpf

but in the upper rpms rowing through the gears, she will run very stout. when your racing, your gonna be coming in on the shifts around 6500+ and thats where all your power / torque is.

thats a solid mid 10 second combo there if you can hook,

get some torco and octanium and we can get the timing bumped more for the track / street as well too

these cars will make power up to 26-28 degrees of timing, but thats way too much for pump,

you should be making 610-660 depending on cats, headers, ect..
Thanks for the reassurance Terry,

I did take the car out a few moments ago after a storm brought some cooler weather and really rowing through the gears put a huge smile on my face.

Ill throw the car on the DYNO to confirm numbers in the coming weeks but as of now Im very happy with how it turned out.

Pull the rpms up to about 5k in second gear, then mash the pedal lol. Doing a full data log pull from 2500 is very different

i ran my old car on paxton with over 700 hp crank for 3 years on oem opg's ..no issues...get an ati balancer if you go with high boost it makes the oem gears last longer...

Running stock OPG and crankshaft gear here, no problems so far. Planning on going E85 without upgrading as well.

Cool.. I'm not opposed to having it done but I don't want anything to do with removing another timing cover on a mod motor. I imagine its much more simple on the Coyote without the extra pulleys etc but the Cobra sucked. I'm considering dumping the 03 and going procharged on the 16. I can only drive one car at a time and as far as cruising goes the 16 is like a Bentley compared to the Cobra. The Cobra is closer to a 4 Wheeler than a car in terms of comfort, I'm definitely not 25 anymore.

These motors really come on at around 4K RPM, Doing Wot pulls as low as 2500 is going to always feel lethargic... Not Enough REVSSSS.

Maybe everyone was being a little overkill by saying drag radials are a must but I don't see it.

Maybe it's the 90 degree heat with high humidity were having in PA or maybe i should be looking for a boost leak, anyone have an opinion on this?
My automatic TVS blown car will not hook in second on radials.. I also have suspension work... Your car should not hook in second on Pzero's. My car is tuned by Lund... I run close to 646rwhp on a Mustang Dyno... Have you Dyno'd your car to get a baseline? It may be the difference in centri and PD.. They make power different..

Coming from a 5.4 with a twin screw with over 880 ft lbs of TQ at 3500, I can say yes, this car with a centri is much more manageable and predictable at close HP levels, my best description is that it pulls for days. I have to compare it to that first piece I got when i was 16, with the old 5.4 it was over in about 15 seconds, now im a little older, and I let it soak for a while with the boosted 5.0.

Was cleared by Dakota at Lund to do a WOT pull from 2500-7000 rpm, which I did in 2nd, and I had to let out at 6500. Spun from 5-6500 pretty bad. I took it up to 6K in third, and WOW, it doesn't stop pulling lol

I figured I would post up a recent review here as I received a pm about my impressions

Here's what I wrote in the pm

Honestly after working on the tune with Lund it's been great, car runs a lot stronger than it feels, It's definitely an upper rpm car, power doesn't really hit until 4500rpm after my opg and crank gear install I'm revving to 7800 rpm and it's a monster but under 4500 it feels like a factory GT it's really the best of both worlds.

I ran a buddy's 700whp ZL1 and pulled about a car on him and another friends turbo ls with the same outcome but the car does not feel fast just smooth power all the way to red line.

I think that my confidence level to really rip on the car up to 7800 after opg and cg made the car a whole new animal.

Also worked on a torco/octanium tune and it pulls even harder with a little more timing. I'm now 100% happy with this combo and would definitely buy it again.

Now if we only had readily available E85 here in PA

Edit** also added long tube headers
