Finally got my tune done by Lund racing, and these guys are fantastic tuners. Quick responses, and very helpful. Everything runs perfectly fine with driveability, but at WOT the car does not feel like it's moving as quick as it should be. I could not even tell the difference between the stock power and the boost until 5th gear. My question is does it take the ECU and the car a while to fully adjust to the power, or am I just crazy? It does not spin the tires in 2nd or third, but I do have radials.

You're just crazy.

Take it to the track and get some times and MPH is the best thing you can do.
Post a log and have someone tell you if they see anything wrong.

Thats strange.

Do you have a boost gauge? Make sure you are seeing the boost you're supposed to, no boost leaks, no belt slip, vaccuum leaks, etc.

Try flashing the tune again, Lund themselves has told me sometimes youll just get a glitch and things wont seem right.

If not, tell Lund. Maybe something is off in the throttle calibrations, etc.

If not, add a wastegate so the power comes on sooner maybe :shrug::headbonk:

No boost gauge yet, but am adding suspension soon so will go to the track next month.

Did you log it? Does your car have a boost/vacuum reading on the digital gauge cluster? if so do a WOT and see what it goes up to, wont be crazy accurate but at least you will see if it builds boost.

It's logged and they said everything looked good, looked at electronic gauge and it showed some boost, but obviously not too accurate. I'll just order a good boost gauge and we will see.

Mines ran up to 10psi, is it should.

these cars are deceptive when you are behind the wheel. have someone else drive it and you will scream. believe me.

its just a normal fast car to me but i had two guys with mustangs ride with me last friday and they about jumped out of the car when we stopped.

That is exactly what just happened. I let a friend ride along and judging by his reaction, it's quick.
if you can take it to a track and see what the trap speed is. my car doesnt feel fast at all but traps 128.

I disagree, I was intake, longtubes and tune, and the car drove good and felt decent. Pull wise it felt nearly identical to my Eaton mach1, which I haven't had in 6 years. Put the P1 and its night and day, not really comparable at all. Unless the OP's recollection of NA is totally off or he recently received head trauma, no one in there right mind would say NA vs boost feels the same until 5th gear.

This is an intake tune catback 5.0 with no passenger, and I had 1 passenger. Does this look about right for the 3.6 pulley, JLT, and straight hooking?

I just finished my install of a Lund tuned paxton with long tubes and 3.6 pulley. The car pulls really hard but in the heat it is certainly slower. I have zero traction in 1st and 2nd with auto transmission and drag radials.

This is very true. My car makes 750hp/575tq to the wheels and runs almost 140mph in the 1/4 and it DOES NOT always feel fast to me. Anyone in the passenger says it feels really fast. You definitely get used to it but you should sure notice it at first unless you have a history of fast cars that would make you not notice.
