pause during gear change in boost

got a 6 speed 2016 gt stock motor stock trans its procharged pushing 600+ hp its tuned and realized when I did a pull on the highway there's a pause when I'm changing gears as if the power or gears pause for that split second when I'm shifting is that bad ?

100% normal for any forced induction manual transmission car I've ever driven. Releasing the gas to shift opens the wastegate which dumps your boost.
