Only concern is the fact that the Guardsman blue within the wheels will look black a lot of the time due to it being in the shadows.

Check out bemarofilms he makes a vinyl kit for the brembos. Several colors to choose from and you can easily switch it up when you want. I currently have mine wrapped in white
Wow, those guys have all kinds of great overlays. Thank you!

No problem its a cheaper alternative to painting and gives you versatility to switch it up, especially if you're like me and can't make up your mind on a single color. Its a nice option and everyone thinks my calipers are painted until I explain its vinyl.

For the ambitious DIY'er. Powder coat your own calipers:

Painting is certainly something you can do yourself, but there are tradeoffs. We just did the calipers on my sons '12 GT and they actually turned out great. Limited on color selection which would not have worked for me, but it worked out in this case. They're not perfect, but they are not bad at all. If I could have done mine in the right red, I would have been happy with the quality of our work, even on my car. But for him, it was cost effective and we enjoyed the D-I-Y journey. But as for painting overall, I have no regurts.

Painting also gives you some other options in the process, like my custom labels...

Do you have any pictures? How was it putting them on?

I've been staring at the side of my Heritage Edition for a week and a half or so now and I can't help but think how great it would look if the calipers were Guardsman Blue to match the stripes rather than black. Has anyone else changed the color of theirs? Is it a pain in the ass? Easy to get done? I'm sure there are plenty of opinions here.
Well it looks like you can try Guardsman Blue out :)

I just did the face overlays for now to see how I like it. Mine is Kona Blue.

OP, did you ever find a solution for your brakes? I am in the exact same boat as you. Evertime I walk outside, and look at my car, I think "why did Ford not tie in Guardsmen Blue brakes into the HEP"? There is a reason Bill Fords HEP has blue brakes... it looks amazing! I am pursing multiple options... I've ordered some overlays from Bemaro (as well as the guardsmen blue steering wheel tape) and I am also going to order a separate set of brakes to have painted Guardsmen Blue. I'll post pics as soon as the products arrive. So far working with Bemaro has been amazing.
