Oxygen Sensor Replacement?

I had a ton of o2 sensors die on e85 then I switched to NTK f150 sensors, no issues since that. NTK 27079 work for both sides upstream.

They could have been damaged during the header swap. Are you tuned for headers.

This is Bank 1 cats, This is the side it was giving me codes on before I fixed the mass air flow sensor. The other side looks in way better shape. I am currently checking passenger side spark plugs. My tuner doenst want to to give me a header tube till I fix all my codes. Not sure why as to I think I have these codes because of that

All my dead upstream o2 sensors were white. Yours looks a lot different than mine. Are yours the rear o2's that are going bad?

According to my nGauge, my bank 2 o2 sensor is working intermittently. Looks like it may be time to replace them. I’m going to check the extension harness leads for continuity and/or a short first though.

Anybody recommend getting Bosch replacements from one of the local auto parts stores or is it better to order from the dealership?

The extension harness for bank 2 tested satisfactorily, so that confirms a new sensor is needed. I‘ll end up changing both for good measure. unfortunately, my o2 bungs aren’t angled in the header collectors. Maybe excess condensation attributed to their demise.

I ran up to AutoZone to try and purchase new sensors and they said they didn’t have, nor could they order any. I ended up coming home and order some online from Parts Geek.

Where did you buy them at? Are the harnesses the same length as the factory ones?

I quoted post 16 in this thread. He bought them. I know I have, in the past gotten them from Rock Auto.

I’m still on my original O2 sensors. Through running much MMT, gasoline and E85 over the years. .
