Bank one sensor one 02 sensor

2nd time in 2 months my 02 sensor has went bad on this bank. When I replaced it the first time it work for a couple of months then stopped again..air fuel gauge is stuck on 14.1 . Car still runs normal just can't read air fuel. Any idea why the 02 sensor (bank 1 sensor one) keeps going bad? Thanks
