Hey all, have owned a 16' GT350 base, 17' GT350 base both have been sold, then ordered 20' GT500 base just sold and now back to GT350R this time, wanted manual back. I have a paint question, car has clean carfax owner says never painted anything on the car but when looking under the hood at the bracket for the hood latch there is some white overspray on it, look at photo. Can someone look at theirs and let me know if it is the same. Great to be back in a 350 will take photos after some TLC:)

@toothdkdr 19 350R accident free as well- Performance Blue and mine looks the same .....

So curious - would love to hear more about your decision making to go back to a 350R from the 500 as I often still browse AutoTraders for 500s but have never been able to pull the trigger ....

My 2019 velocity blue is the same. Goes along with all the horrendous orange peel. Compromises for the price point. At least I was lucky enough no one at the factory skint my hood raising the wiper blade

Thanks for the reply, I got bored of the GT500 automatic trans, I don't race so paddle shifting never thirlled me. Have owned lots of high end sports cars all with manual, just missed having. Had a Ferrari F355 with F1 trans sold after 4 months to get a manual. Being in my mid 60's I thought auto would be eaiser and could not pass up the thought of 760hp. But it just never did it for me!!! Very happy to be back in the 350. I held out for a 19 due to the gen 2 engine and the red recaros, prices were quite high still, so after looking for 3 months found a great deal out of Texas, 9k miles on the car never tracked.

Also went back to a 350R.

Edit to say - The 500 is a machine.. just in a world where you can get away with less and less shenanigans - if you are mainly driving on the street, IMO- the 350 is just more fun to drive at any speed. I think i'd be in jail with now if I had kept the 500 ;)

By the way after I sold the 500 last year I ordered a 24’ gt5.0 loaded. Took 4 months to show up at the dealer and took one look and hated it. If you are traditional Mustang the 7th generation was not for me or you, another reason I went back.

Hey all, maybe I am being a little OCD but after close inspection of my Oxford White I noticed the front and rear plastic bumpers are slightly off color, is this normal? Maybe a little yellowed from the sun, anyone else have the same issue?

I have an 18, Oxford white, low miles, always garaged, and there is a slightly noticeable difference in color on the front and rear bumpers. I assumed it was flex additive (not sure proper term/product) that throws color off a tiny bit.

Yeah, that’s the issue with the plastic bumpers… they always just barely differ
