  2. Guys, how important is the “Shelby” name to the enjoyment of your car?

You know; Opinions are likeā€¦. You canā€™t fixā€¦. Donā€˜t argue withā€¦. These threads turn into brief entertainment, then šŸ„±
  3. Guys, how important is the “Shelby” name to the enjoyment of your car?

All depends on what the badging looks like!
  4. Staggered or Squared Setup?

ā€œSketchyā€œ, can you be more specific? More camber in rear causes more toe in (assuming you donā€™t adjust that accordingly), and makes the rear less stable?
  5. What did you do to your GT350 today?

Honestly not sure how it would be without it. Couldn'tā€™, wouldn't. Worth every single penny as all good tools are.
  6. Guys, how important is the “Shelby” name to the enjoyment of your car?

Just for clarification sake....C7 Z06 went to my son
  7. Guys, how important is the “Shelby” name to the enjoyment of your car?

My take is this: I test drove S550 mustangs, was not overly impressed. Partially since my ride at the time was a C7 Z06. I was looking for a ā€driversā€ car (N/A, manual, track oriented). As I got serious, It came down to a 718 GT4 or Shelby GT350. (variety of critera and constraints). I went with...
  8. What did you do to your GT350 today?

I concur! Makes oil changes quick, easy, with no mess.
  9. Cobrajet intake manifold dyno

Still would be interesting to know just what the (not made for the car) CJ manifold actually added over OEM manifold everything else the same or equivalentā€¦across the rpm range to account for drivability and power gains off idle all the way through redlineā€¦Iā€™m guessing the juice ainā€™t worth the...
  10. 5.2L FPC Voodoo v 5.5L FPC LT6 "Project Gemini"

I donā€™t drive nearly as much(1k or so a year), but also warm it up to 140ish before driving, change oil once a year, keep engine in the 2k or above range when driving normal, and keep within rpm range (red on attachment) when having funā€¦utilizing all the TQ 400 and above without wringing out...
  11. I think I castrated my Shelby….and I’m not happy about it

Music taste and hearing ability are great points in this discussion. To me both sound better than to OEM minus resonators from a sound character standpoint and both are loud. I think at least one place where personal taste comes in to play is loudness. The majority might like it louder, as most...
  12. I think I castrated my Shelby….and I’m not happy about it

OEM resonators sound right (sound character and volume), Resonator delete sounds similar but ā€œrawā€ (sound character is sharper and more noticeable crackleā€¦volume is significantly louder). Between these 2, OEM resonators provides best range from quiet to awesome sound. From the video of the ARH...
  13. original paint

I have an 18, Oxford white, low miles, always garaged, and there is a slightly noticeable difference in color on the front and rear bumpers. I assumed it was flex additive (not sure proper term/product) that throws color off a tiny bit.
  14. SVE R350 wheels with OEM Michelin SS

Makes sense on the flat vs concaveā€¦.as far as poke, with proper camber and 315 vs 325 on rear, no poke at all. Whichever way you go it will look sweet. Enjoy!
  15. SVE R350 wheels with OEM Michelin SS

What was the fitment difference that had you go with the SVEs? I have a set of project6gr sevens and tens in R spec with R spec MPS4s (305f and 315r) and the fitment is perfect.
  16. LTH Resonator Delete Install and dB

Iā€™m pretty sure I saw a thread in here where the heat shield was taken off in one piece before cutting exhaust. Then reattached using thin band clamps after xpipe installed. Also, allows to swap back in stock resonators using butt end clamps in rear and reattach heat shieldā€¦pretty slick and...
