I had a 2006 C6Z06 that, like all my cars, I DD'd and tracked. It was a beast. But "The Blue Car," as we call it, is the most fun to drive of any car I've ever owned. 'nuff said

Orderd mine in April of 2019, and took delivery in August of 2019.

Here was the birth announcement and bringing the new-born home:

Such a proud moment... I still tear up!

Just delivered... needs its butt spanked so those lungs can start to wail.

At its new home...... all of the plastic is still on the car including the seats which made for a noisy ride home with the windows down.

• "Why were the windows down Dave?"
• "Uhhh... cuz the exhaust is out there!

13 Glorious hours of paint correction and detailing later.... loved EVERY second of it!

• "WTF Dave, 13 hours and you still left that mark on the glass?"
• "I said paint correction... I still had not got to the glass, but good catch"

One week old and I had to get him circumcised... the resonators were coming off. I had to grow the huevos to let a stranger snip his little factory parts off. Boy did he make some noise after that Out-Patient surgery.

To give you a serious answer - I still consider it a GT350 as it has the original tub, block, and dash. Without those, probably just a mustang.

IMHO - it's how a GT350 should be built. But I am biased!

First below is my 2016 Tech pack -ordered in Aug 2015, delivered Jan 2016. Paid $2k over for it.
Traded in on my 2020 R in Nov 2019. Got the R at MSRP. Currenty has just under 9000 miles. Love the R, but don't get to enjoy it nearly as much as I did the 2016.

LR107 here, bought in November 2019. 2700 miles currently. Traded in my 16 DIB Tech package for it.
