Ordered an 2018 how lone for delivery?

I submitted a factory order on Jan. 24 for a 2018 Ecoboost Premium Convertible (silver exterior, tan interior) with the 10-speed automatic as the only optional feature. A month later (Feb.24), my order finally showed up in COTUS with an EDD of May 24.

Update: on Mar. 25 my EDD moved up four days to May 20.

realistically the 6-8 weeks is more like 8-12, Car was ordered 2/17, VIN 2/22 EDD 5/17

Matco's experience is similar to mine. He's got a little extra delivery time built in due to travel to California, I believe.

Must say I'm a little bit jealous right now. Mine was ordered on February 15th in its not scheduled to be delivered until may 27th

My order is dated 12-26-2017, my EDD is 5-11-2018, a priority of 20 (My dealer says that it is a 10). Four + months this is BS. All of the bigger dealers in KS now have 20+ unsold cars setting on there lots. Why wouldn't Ford put sold customer cars at the front of the line. We have other choices out there other than a Mustang. :rant:

i ordered my mustang right before thanksgiving last Year...

delivery was supposed to be over a month ago... STILL WAITING!

apparently there is some "module" that has to be replaced on all 18 ecoboost mustangs.... so im now 5 weeks over my delivery date with no promise date in sight... :frusty:

not sure how ford plans to sell 2018 mustangs this year, since by the time they get them on the road itll be 2019 seems like... also explains why i dont see hardly any 18s on the road either

That seems absurdly long in my opinion, something must be wrong. My dad got his BMW M4 built in Germany and shipped to FL faster than that. I know not everyone is waiting that long.

i know. its ridiculous. it took like 3 weeks just for Ford to give that answer to the local dealer here. at first it just said "Pending" for days and days, I even called ford myself and finally got through (after 4 tries and 20+ mins on hold). the girl on the phone tried to blame it on the dealer and that she nor ford "knew" what the delay was..

nobody had ever heard of this unknown "pending" status, and nobody could give details. it took nearly every manager at the dealer calling ford every day for weeks to get this "secret module replacement" issue.

apparently its also affecting other customers who have put in orders and not received their new cars yet, and the new 18s on the lot have to be fixed as well. :headbonk:

sounds like a huge recall issue that they are mitigating by just not letting cars out of the factory :shrug:

I wish mine went into production. I ordered on 3/19 and its still "In Order Processing" with a EDD of 5/26 and mines priority 10

A priority 20 is a stock order. That's not the same as a priority 10. Retail orders are given a priority 10-19. Stock is 20 and up. That's probably why yours is taking forever if it's priority 20.
