It could be, my dealership is a Roush reseller, and maybe they have some connections, but I'm not sure that would help them with this. Honestly, my dealer is fairly small compared to others, Cincy, Dayton, Columbus, and I think their allocation isn't as big. My sales rep is a huge stang head, but he's a young kid compared to some, so not sure it was that.I thought that the first guy in was going to be the first guy out. In some cases, I think that happened like with Zombie and a few others. It has to be dealer connected IMO!
I actually knew more about the status of the car, and how things were proceeding that he did.
I think in my case, an early order, coupled with PURE luck that OKTB was given the same day mine went off the line and onto a truck, were the reasons that I got mine so soon. I feel bad for everyone else waiting, including Tony Alonso, who was a big help to me in color selection, info, etc., etc.. :(
I know its just words, but hang in there Tork and others. It will be worth it. :kickrock:
This is a great point. If they want to keep a happy customer, a good dealer will do this and not try to pull the dealer markup or "market value" crap.May b good advice. My dealer said since this is taking so long that if I wanted to cancel the GT he would let me have a GT350 at cost. A little more than I want to spend and a longer wait but the performance upgrade would be huge.
