I'm also not a fan of stripes on cars. Definitely a subjective thing.

I like the stripes depending on the color of the car and the stripes. You're the one making the payments, you gotta look at it every time you're in the car, so do what makes ya happy. I have silver stripes on my DIB, and I KNOW I got better 1/4 mile times because the air flows better right up the stripes. Sideways stripes you would probably lose a second or two. (Please, you guys KNOW that was complete jackassishness).

To me, stripes should be part of a package or theme you're putting together. Stripes on a car and nothing else (like wheels and/or grille or chin spoiler, new unique emblems etc) looks strange.

I thought that myself. When I looked for my Mustang, I wanted the nickel luster PP wheels to go with the stripes. I later got some Niche targa's which are also silver.

Hate stripes on these cars. Those look too narrow to me also.

No stripes IMO unless it has like 600hp and/or is a track car.

Terry

Stripes can look really good on these cars, but you have to wrap them all the way from the bottom of the front bumper to the bottom of the rear. Stopping on the hood and trunk looks stupid imo.

Exactly what he said. If your gonna do the stripes you need to do them front to back bumper to bumper. If you leave the bumpers off it looks kind of incomplete. It won't complement the car the way it should. It's either all in or nothing, maybe just wrap the roof black and call it a day if your looking for a change.
