Stripe opinions

So I put on a Mach1 style hood stripe a while back and then tweaked it a bit to my own tastes. I like it, but I’m thinking I’m coming off a little “poser”-ish now that I’ve seen some Mach1s driving around.

I was thinking of a couple options to mix it up:
1) Doing a matte black straight stripe down the hood to the grill now, and maybe continue it across the roof and on the top of the trunk

2)Dark blue metallic stripe the same way as #1. I’ve always liked the white and blue on Fords.

3) leave it alone. It’s different enough from a Mach1

4) ditch all stripe ideas and leave it blank.

I like it fine just as it is.

It does look similar to the mach 1 hood decal....but its not exactly and I wouldn't call it trying to pass it off as one.

As long as you like it then run it. If you are looking to change it up though I think the blue would look great too

I think it looks different enough. I doubt anyone would mistake it for a Mach 1 and if you’re not trying to be one, that’s good enough.

Leave it alone, continue the stripe over the top, or take it off. Do whatever you want but most importantly don’t worry what other people think. If it looks like a Mach 1 theres nothing wrong with that. Hell you could put a Mach 1 hood sticker on it. Just mod your car the way you want

I have been looking for a stripe like that. who makes it?

I did it with 3m Knifeless tape and a sheet of 3M vinyl.

Bigworm graphix offers something similar but not quite the same.
