I am looking to do my brake calipers and am having tough time deciding on what color. I am debating between black or lightning blue. I am in law enforcement so i kinda wanted the back with blue accent. Here is the car as it is now.

I've always liked contrast on a car. I'd go with a color that "pops." But that's just my .02.

I know i just want to hear thoughts. Got the idea from the awesome blue color on the new corvette calipers. I think lightning blue is closest to that.

If you want some contrast brother go with the blue (I know what you're going for with that color). I will look good. And, if you decided you made a bad decision, it's just paint, you can paint 'em again. Be safe. May St. Michael ride with you always.

Funny...I’m going through the same dilemma. Seeing the blue on a Corvette has convinced me to use blue as the accent color for my magnetic metallic car.

I was just looking at the G2 Caliper Paint site and they have their blue kit for $54.99 and then they have a custom Ford Sonic Blue kit for $109.99.

So I’m wondering which way to go. Spend the extra for the Sonic Blue?

I’m also trying to figure out if the Brembo stickers come with the kit. If not I found them on amazon for about $8.

Everyone does red nowadays. I’ve seen a lot of Orange too, which was my first choice, but I want to be different. I figure the blue will stand out with the gray paint and black wheels.

I have plenty of those!

1. Avocados are overrated
2. Terminator 1 is the better movie
3. Fresh Prince of Bel Air is the greatest show that ever was and ever will be broadcast on television.

Oh, and lightning blue sounds awesome. Get me a better shot and I'll try to whip something up in photoshop.

1. Agreed
2. Highly debateable. T-2 in my book.
3. The Simpsons get my vote if we're talking family, otherwise, Boston Legal.

And LB all the way on that car!

I'd go with a rich, darker blue or a gunmetal. Contrast but not over the top.

Matte black.....very matte black. Similar to the factory finish.

Or, do a brake upgrade to Brembos.
