I got to see and sit in the CO Ecoboost. In person it looks amazing. The lowered stance and wider body give the car a great mean and aggressive look. I just love the fastback to. I'm really impressed and excited to see these on the road!

It's got the best stance of any stock Mustang yet................but, personally, I'd still like to see it dropped an inch and a bit lower. So aftermarket springs would be a must for me.

Saw the Ingot Silver PP at Fabulous Fords Forever at Knotts Berry Farm. The stance is right. Not too low, but not 4WD. I'm sure there will be lowering options available aftermarket, but it won't be like it has been where you NEED to go that route. Will also be new complications, since you have to deal with rear camber when lowering a 15, unless you want it to have the tires tilted inward all the time. That looks lame. Also, the PP wheels/tires do a better job of filling the wheel wells than factory tires have done before. It'll be harder to go a lot bigger, unless there's a way to add negative offset and go inward. We'll see.

...the biggest thing that goes missing from pics/videos is the cohesion of all the styling elements and design cues. The current car looks like what it is...a vehicle that has been refreshed and modified at the front and rear from its original design. It still looks good, but the front and rear look a bit off and it looks like three separate designs slapped together... you'll notice this when you do see an S550 to compare.

The S550 hits you in person as a car where everything melds together with the same look/theme. Even the front looks like it belongs in person, despite many pics making it look a bit weird. The whole vehicle is by far much more "together" than the current car...much lower/sleeker/wider/stylized.

Yep...good description of the 2014. Something is 'off' about it.

The S550 looks like it was born from a Mustang having a baby with an Aston/BMW/European chick.

It IS what a modern day Mustang should look like.

Saw the Guard EB on 20's at the Austin Auto Show last weekend. Absolutely stunning in person. Pictures do it no justice. The lines of the car are just down right sexy.

What exactly is "off" about it?

A lot of suspension designs will increase camber as load is applied throughout the corner. If one start at zero camber with no load, when cornering load is applied the tire will go positive and the contact patch will decrease. If one starts with some negative camber when not under load, when the suspension adds camber under cornering load, the tire will flatten out and increase the contact patch.

I.E. negative camber with a lot of suspensions will increase grip in the corners.

The downside is more tire wear on the inside part of the tire, but then there is no free performance.

True. As an M3 owner, I'm sure you are well versed in this :) I'm used to it also, but I wonder if the average owner won't be more annoyed with tires wearing out a lot faster.
