I would make sure that the rubber gaskets in that kit are the correct ones for the S550. I remember hearing that that kit came with ones that only fit the S197.Is anything else needed for the install if I have the Ford Performance M-6600-A50PKIT?
Thanks for the heads up I'll definitely have to check on that.I would make sure that the rubber gaskets in that kit are the correct ones for the S550. I remember hearing that that kit came with ones that only fit the S197.
Most re-use the stock gaskets. RTV silicone (Ultra black) for the seems of the gaskets. Is anything else needed for the install if I have the Ford Performance M-6600-A50PKIT?
Ah thank you! I know what I'll be watching on lunch today haha :cheers:I'm not sure if you've seen the videos I put up while I was doing mine last fall - but if you want to see what it all looks like when it's coming apart and going back together and getting it timed correctly it might be worth a look.

Pretty sure that is correct yes, unless you go with the ATI balancer and then you'll need the ARP boltSo if I got this correct from a few pages ago....When doing the OPG/CS upgrade on a Stage 2 procharger car you DO NOT need to add the ARP crank bolt/washer since the Procharger supplied bolt IS NOT a torque to yield bolt therefore IT CAN be reused.
Sorry, just making sure Im clear. lol.
No ATI balancer. Im ok with continuing to use the stock piece.Pretty sure that is correct yes, unless you go with the ATI balancer and then you'll need the ARP bolt
What year/GEN Coyote is in the images?Wow no new replies in 4 years.
Quick question regarding the oil pump. Is there a reason why there is no gasket or o-ring between the oil pump outlet and the surface of the engine. It seems to just be metal on metal. See pics below.
I'm not saying this is wrong. Ford obviously intentionally engineered it this way. Just wondering what the reasoning is behind it.

The lowest I was quoted for just the labor was 1,500 at a shop in NJ. Two other shops quoted 1,600 and 1,700. Absolutely absurd.Shops charge 1200 for just the labor lol
