So I just ordered a set of MMR opg and c/s, preparing for the install. Also have a new crank bolt, gaskets came with it although I realize I prob wont need (car has 11k on it). Going to order an install bolt for the damper, what thread pitch is the stock crank?

Still a noobie here so help me out...what other things are recommended to be changed or upgraded in the timing area? I see guides and tensioner upgrades etc etc.

Par is a 2015 M6, plan is a Whipple, headers, e85, get her into the 800's at the tire. Not sure what redline that would require, but assume circa 7750 or so.

Help?!

Stock tensioners and guides should be fine for you power goals.

Depending on pulley setup and boost numbers for power goals.

7800rpm should be fine!

Do yourself a favor and be sure to order that install bolt before you begin. I know you said you plan to, but you probably won't be able to find one local (Fastenal even had to order one in). I ended up having to use alternate install tactics. That was the most nerve-wracking part of the install: wondering if I was going to pull the threads out of the crank.

Thanks, I ordered the gear set through you on ebay, I will get the bolt on order, was just trying to figure out if there was anything else I need to avoid a shipment JUST for the bolt.

Can you see about just throwing it into my order for the gears? User miche4044_a7hs2ixa on ebay, placed the order yesterday, to be shipped to Fairfield, CT.
