I liked the ARH sound the best. Corsa was close. Called both and ARH is at least a 2 week wait. Wife pulled the trigger on a Corsa sport. She wants sound but not "loud"
full exhaust or just axel backs with resonator?

Guys been putting resonated muffler bullets behind X or H pipe for better drone and rasp control. Most axlebacks with H/X pipe will be subject to excessive rasp or drone or both. So, it depends if you're willing to take chances on your exhaust build by allocating extra funds for redo/s if you're not satisfied. I know people going trough 5 catbacks before finding the right one. Toll .
If I'd be in your shoes, I'd do it either by building exhaust system backwards or start from LTHs and move towards back
Both have advantages and disadvantages.

#1 Axleback exhaust ($300+) your labor $0 or shop install $60, still you can move up front and do some additional work as your funds allow in case the sound isn't satisfying your ear drums
#2 LTHs at around $1000+ and labor $500-800

Pick your poison.
I agree although long tubes do give a higher pitched scream from this motor that is decidedly more modern than old school.

I want to do headers but decided against it for now, plus I'm not in the mood for that job right now. The header install threads convinced me for now, lol. It's her car and we aren't racing it. It's a toy that I want make a bit better for her. Def getting a tune because the throttle lag suuuuuuxxxxxx.

They're in stock at American muscle and other forum vendors that offer great discounts. Got mine much cheaper than I could have gotten a Corsa, plus I wanted the h pipe rumble! Either way both of them are good exhausts.

yup, saved a few $$ from a dealer on here. Supposed to come today and we'll see how it sounds. she listened to a hundred sound clips from Youtube. I tried telling her that live is different. Should be fine.

We installed the Corsa Sport cat back exhaust. Sounds great and I would not consider it a loud exhaust at all. Like others have said it gets some sound the harder you push on the throttle. The wife is happy and I was happy that it took 30 mins to install (we have a lift). I will add that the new Camaro SS stock exhaust is prob the best sounding exhaust I have heard on a new car. Next step is a tune..........

It's def nice. We used to have a few race cars and I got tired of laying on the floor putting a transmission in. Finally I got smart and bought a lift.
