Old school exhaust note

My wife's car with super 10 rear mounted Flowmasters with a resonantor delete X pipe. Needs a H pipe honestly to tame some of the mid to wide open throttle rasp it has but at idle and part throttle it sounds deep and hollow. Sorry video kinda sucks it doesn't do the tone full justice I need to get a better one.

here is a clip of mine - replaced H-pipe with dual in and out flowmaster super 10's. back section is Borla S Type. I think it sounds pretty damn good, much much deeper.

yea it's very old school muscle / hollow sounding now. There's still some rasp in that, but that very well may be the best we can get. My exhaust guy actually recommend against the Super 10's and wanted me to go with a Magnaflow straight through baffled resonator in the same place we mounted the super 10, but I wanted to go with what you told me and I'm glad I did.

Yeh the magnaflow would have really dulled the sound. You probably wouldn’t be able to even hear the low rpm rumbles that you do with the super 10.

I have a mrt h pipe with magna flow axle back exhaust. all the oltimers tell me they love the sound. 2015 mustang GT premium with pp2 Ford performance
