OK. Hope this works - never posted an attachment !
I do hope you get some response back.

And adding to all of this...as you pointed out...Ford has lost an excellent opportunity to create a real shift in how it positions itself in the market and engages with it's customers.

Ford does not have a Lexus, R, Acura, M or AMG brand. The Mustang could have been a similiar brand. A brand already symbolized by petrol heads and die hard fans in the US. Unfortunately they, Ford, have given us nothing to kindle that spirit outside the US !

Nice one! Well done, I hope it gets the response it deserves.

The technical delays and changes to spec from the US cars I can understand in some ways (it must be a massively complicated and costly process to design and produce a RHD car). But, working on the reasonable assumption that Ford employ a huge marketing and PR department, what I can't understand is how they can i) misjudge the potential RHD demand (worldwide) and customer requirements so badly in the first place and ii) how they can make such a pig's ear of simple communication with what is basically a very small number of people - who, as you quite rightly say, are ambassadors for the Mustang (and basically giving Ford free advertising for their halo product).

Great letter though, thanks very much for taking the time to do it.

This is incredibly well written! Thanks for thinking of and including us Oz folks as well.

I so hope you get a reply.

Ford have to remember, that on the other end of all this business and cash money and record sales in the USA, there's a bunch of people outside the USA who are genuinely into the product, have been waiting a long time, and have been let down immensely.

Meanwhile there's cars sitting on dealer lots in the USA.

The Mustang brand is be bigger and better than what the 'Mustang vs Camaro' sales wars should dictate.

I like how you mentioned us having to convert everything back to the way it should have been (US Mustang appearance).

Not including the hood, in Australia we have to pay about $4500~ to get everything back (cosmetically) to US spec.

This isn't including the substandard interior, which now seems likely.

Update this morning, Vista shows Gate Release 13/10/15 (9 weeks after build)
Great :ford:
Just what should we believe, Karen says my Car was due to Sail 2 days ago and has been at Baltimore for some time ?????
Hmm its 7 days on the train to Baltimore + customs. ETA of eurasian highway is now 21st. If it does make it hopefully it's keeping mine company. 2 of the longest in production rhd mustangs ever

CJ01 I enjoyed reading that and agree with everything that was written. I just hope that Ford reads those words, understands them and has the decency to reply back with an answer that has also taken time and effort. If you don't get a reply then I still appreciate your time and effort mate

Don't worry mate mine is still there along with avocet 's car keeping yours company.....
Latest update is mine is supposed to EXIT US DOCKS 16.10.15 (today) but I see no boats on the schedules sailing lol <--- yes I am now starting to laugh at all this crap....

EDIT: One thing I forgot to say was, I am worried our cars will be delayed further because for us UK lot we still have another boat involved to get them to Southampton and another lot of customs there as well BUT I am going to stay positive and think that they will all be plain "sailing" once they leave Baltimore

Thank you CJ01 for taking the time to do this. As others have said, very well written & highlights all of our points very well...one thing; you say in your letter about an A3 poster containing the comments from the forum. Can we see it? Might frame it & hang it on my wall at home :)

Yeah I have Exit US Docks on 19th Oct, Vessel Booked is Eurasian Highway. Thats due to leave Baltimore on 21st, tried tracking it on vesselfinder.com and it currently says its ETA is 5th Oct to Zeebrugge!!! oh god more inaccurate info.
