Suspension geometry dictates that the wheel (and tyre) doesn't move straight up (or down) - it moves in an arc.

25mm spacers + Eibach Pro Kit springs will not contact tyre and fender. We've fitted dozens. We've run lower than that with Pedders and 25mm spacers too and also no rubbing.

How the car looks is very much someone's taste - just wanted to point out the fact that 25mm spacers are perfectly legal and safe (TuV approved too).
This, when the suspension is compressed (lowered) negative camber increases and this is why there is no arch contact.

25mm rear spacers result in tyre being flush with the arch or marginally poking, unless you dial in a lot of negative rear camber and anything over -1.60 (-1:35) is detrimental to handling on this chassis on roads tyres.

15mm rear spacers the wheels sit marginally in, like you'd expect to see on say a Porsche Cayman GT4 or GT3 and you can then run as little camber in the rear as you wish, though the ideal setting for best handling on road is -1.5-1.6 in the rear.

Both are a vast improvement over stock, so buy the spacers for the look you prefer, if you want flush and maybe a touch poke 25mm, if you want zero poke and more of a factory but good look, get 15mm.

Also bear in mind 15mm is a lighter and safer design as longer studs are provided so the spacer just slips on. :)

With the 15mm spacers, do you have to press out the original studs and refit longer studs, if so, is there enough space or do you have to take the hub off as well to fit?

Yes.

I did mine with hub fitted, had to remove caliper and brake disc though and they only come out in one location, check the DIY section of the forum as I posted the guide there. :)
