It's my first mustang so I was surprised how awkward it is to check the oil with the stabilizer bar on the PP. Anyone else noticed this yet?

Yes very tricky! With the sound tube removed I would imagine it would feel much more "normal". With the sound tube it is just a really awkward angle to get around it.

I found it very awkward as well with the stabilizer bar in the way. I was a little worried at first because I almost bent the dipstick.

Agree. Either no one else is checking their oil or this thread slipped through the cracks. Dipstick tube should have been longer and curved out so you could actually use it. It's in a really bad location.

It's much easier to get to once I deleted the sound tube.

It's the first thing I noticed when I checked my oil. It's not bad grabbing it. But putting it back in is a pita

It is more difficult now that I added the strut tower brace. But are you trying to put it back in from behind the strut tower brace? That is what I was trying to do, but then I found out that putting it back in from in front of the strut tower brace is much easier. It doesn't look like it would be, but it slides right in!

Just so I am clear you slide it in the front and. NOT the back? Life lesson #416......slide it in the front and NOT the back.
