Update: I left the oil at the top circle and added half a bottle of ceratec. Took it to a beginner trackattack and was fine.

Not mine. Oil level is just above the bottom hole at about the first cross hatch. My understanding is that 10 qts with an FL-500S puts it dead center between the two holes on the dipstick.

I apologize I meant to say lower pressure as too much oil would cause aeration and thus lower than usual pressure. But generally yes, quantity is not the factor that effects oil pressure. I actually went out and checked my oil, weirdly the side of the dipstick with the hash marks and dots is ever so slightly above full, but the other side is significantly above full. I'm assuming this is just because of pulling it out of the tube. Any thoughts on this? The quantity does not determine oil pressure. Everything else being equal, your oil pressure would be the same with five or with 50 quarts.
And you guys are going about this quantity thing all wrong. The dipsitck does not determine the quantity. The quantity (with a filter change) is 10 quarts. Period. It does not matter one lick where that shows up on the dipstick. The dipstick is but a reference tool to show you what YOUR car is doing. Do the oil change and look at the stick. Where ever it's at is irrelevant, just know that that level is full for YOUR car.
'That's what i do. I don't know why anyone would run the oil low, coyote engines tend to use oil so it could end up running with low oil pressure. In Canada our jugs of oil are 5 liters. I need the empty jugs to put the used oil in and take to the recycling center so I put 2 full jugs in making it 10 liters. That works out to 10.5 U.S. quarts and I've had no problems. The oil is just barely above the top hole.
