As a precaution I had my Oil Cooler changed on my 2018, I know some said that the issue was rectified on post 18 cars but I have personally seen a few gen 3s fail, and one just last week, whilst its not a cheap job its cheaper than a new engine, especially since i am running a gen 5 whipple super charger, had mine done at Motorsport and Performance and they wrote a blog on it and a short video of my car here: Mustang GT Oil Cooler Failure is still prevalent even in newer generation cars. they fitted the nemesis air cooled system, not had any cause for concern since.

Good one like the tour of the suspension, great for future planing. Seeing the parts, installed..

Will do, my car was a pretty epic build, but we're not done with her just yet, we're going in for a new diff and a bigger charge cooler next, week and sometime in the spring we're going to drop in some forged internals, the mustang is really gaining traction over here in the uk

Sinclair Ford have fitted quite a lot I believe,budget for around $1,500.I had mine fitted @ Autotech in the A.C.T(highly recommend them)

As above, Sinclair Ford have fitted dozens including mine. Not sure of your location, I'd also recommend Sam's Performance.

IMHO absolutely not if you're under warranty, only did mine because it was ending and the Frogshits at Ford (F@F) wouldn't come clean about backing owners after warranty.

Hadn't heard of Gen3s failing until I went to the site linked above by @OzzieUK, hey Wayne do you know if the affected owners are discussing this somewhere on line?

The kit is $1,250+ labour.Depends where & who is quoting you.

Sinclair Ford! They worked with Harrop to design the replacement.

you pay 50k for a car. then have to spend 1.5k moddifying it to prevent it blowing up lol.
then have this ticking time bomb evap-core crap to deal with aswell.

What another one. Go find something else to do.
