Just curious as to if anyone has noticed any kind of consumption and how much. I personally have noticed a bit. I do not have a catch can, so Im guessing some burped into intake parts

Chris: I too have noticed a smidge, (1/4qt approx) in about a thousand miles. I have the OEM catch can but allegedly that returns to supply. I don't do much WOT but I do run her pretty hard when I drive her.

In 2100 mi. I have about a 1/16 of an inch drop on the dipstick. I just emptied the JLT catch can and got 30cc after 1500 mi. I'm a firm believer in easy break-ins, but my results may have nothing to do with it.

My dad was a career mechanic. He always said to never trust an engine that didn’t use a little oil. Has never been an issue for me in my experience. Also, I believe it’s not uncommon on the 5.2.

My dad said a similar statement: an engine that doesn't use any oil initially will end up using a lot when it gets older

Totally stock. I decided this was the one that I wouldn't mess with (engine power wise).

I don't have a lot of miles however, so far at 900 miles I am not seeing any oil loss. My break-in is driving it varied along with how I would normally drive it, not babying it nor am I beating it.

I have the OEM oil catch can as well.
