Where do you guys go to get your oil changed?

I'm hesitant to take it to one of those places like Jiffy Lube... It was OK for my old car, but I noticed they wouldn't get the levels right half the time in anything (They severely overfilled my transmission one time). I do know how to change oil, but I live in an apartment in the middle of a busy city and there is no parking except for street... I can't work on my car here. I could take it to the dealer, but the one I bought it from is quite far away... And I'm not entirely convinced the people they have are going to do a better job than the quick places.

Jiffy Lube isn't touching my car with a ten foot pole. I change my own oil when I am not being lazy lol. I get free oil changes for life at my dealer though. My advice is maye go to a friend house and change it there or find a good local mechanic.

Find a good local mom & pop type of shop. Usually word of mouth is a good way to find out if a shop is reputable so ask around! See if anyone knows a good shop.

I change my own as well. The sad fact is that you won't ever find someone that cares about your car as much as you do. As was said above, try to find a reputable locally owned shop and have them do it.

Had the oil changed in my '05 altima at the dealership where I bought it a few times. I stopped taking it there when they didn't tighten the filter once.

All the above

I have a Mustang shop in town, they did all my service for my 2012.
I got 10 yrs of free oil changes with my dealer for my new baby. Just did the first one on Tues. They even rotated the tires for free. Nice!
Cheers!

I got one free oil change... I did get quite a bit of cash knocked off, plus I wasn't too bothered.. The dealers about 50 miles from my apartment.

Dang, all I got was the first oil change for $9.99 and an extra $10 for a rotation.

I care about infotainment
I've used the same dealer I bought my car from for almost every oil change. And with the ordered '16 on the way I will continue to do so. I'm not changing oil inside of my garage, and my driveway has a steep enough incline that I don't feel comfortable getting under the car there, plus it's hot as hell in Florida 99% of the time.

Just much more convenient, and safe, to bring it to Ford and get oil change + inspection for $35, and I get every 4th oil change free.

I only have the oil changed by a dealer or do it myself.

I haven't been to a Jiffy Lube since they stripped out my oil pan plug on my '70 Mustang and then told me "it's an old car, not our fault." Dirty bastards! Yes, it's an old car, and it survived many, many oil changes - until you touched it! At the time it was a 30+ year old original oil pan. Not that the car is collectible or anything, but damn - the nerve of wrecking my car and then doing nothing for me.

The last time I went to Jiffy Lube was in my 04 Grand Am. The idiots didn't put my drain plug on tight enough so of course I leadked oil all the way home.

Find a cool friend with a driveway and change it there so you don't worry about someone else's possibly suspect work.
