Where do you get your oil changes? The dealership or other shops? If you get it from somewhere else, what do you use? Mobile one? Royal purple.. etc?

I do my own oil changes and can find the Motorcraft oil filter and Motorcraft oil at Walmart, which is convenient.

I do my own. My S197 always got Mobil 1 oil with K&N filters, but I recently upgraded to Amsoil for my S550. She got her first oil change a couple weeks ago at 6,000 miles - Amsoil Signature Series 5W-20 with an Amsoil filter (EAO17). I'll run the oil for a year and then change to the same thing.

Ah, ok. Has anyone tried royal purple on one of these 3.7s?

I'm sure, but RP has been around for a long time. I'm not sure that you need to wait to find if someone has specifically used it on your engine.

True, Ive liked using royal purple and has worked great on my old vehicle. Just wanted to see if anyone has came to any issues using it before on the 3.7 engine before I jump on it. :)

The reality is just about any name brand oil will do fine. Heck walmart brand oil gets good reviews based on blackstone testing.
