Hi all,

Does anybody have the Ohlins Road&Track coilovers?

My question is, where exactly is the knob for the rear suspension? I'm trying to find out how easy or difficult would be to make adjustments after you get them installed. I guess for the front ones is straightforward, but for the rears, I can't figure out if the knob is in the bottom, or in the top.

Thanks in advance.

Thank you @***** ! I'm trying to find out how easy would it be to change the adjustments for occasional track days.

Good point. I think I'd try to stay in some fixed value in line with what you suggested. Thanks!

Hey @*****, what tire size do you have in the front?

I believe I read somewhere that I could go up to 285/30/19 in front, and would like to get 305/30/19 in the rear, but with the Ohlins, not sure if there would be enough clearance.

Thanks!

This is *highly* unusual for an Ohlins (my favorite all time damper manufacturer). Really clean and inspect the end cap. Did all that oil come through the shaft seal or was that something off the track? If the seal, that's a legitimate problem. In the end cap, there's an o-ring that makes the hydraulic seal and a wiper which is a dust/debris guard. If they've somehow assembled them incorrectly, it's just a matter of time before the dampers get a big gulp of air.

get a spring sock to keep debris off the shaft. But those are blown. A VERY light 'sheen' on the shaft is fine, but this is oil all over the body.
