So I can go straight to the custom ROM? Or do I do the April update first?

Do you have a gen 1? I could be wrong, but I believe his various updates on the site are gen 1 only.

I'm willing to bet that doing the update then custom ROM won't hurt anything but his sites bandwidth, but I'd also like to skip it if it's not necessary.

I can say their follow up is excellent I got email's and texts the whole step of the way updating me on the package. It was great I didn't have a blackhole and knew ever step where my radio was.

The packaging looks different from Marvinmadman's not sure how many different factories there are but I like that they took a more professional approach and effort to pack my radio nice and neat.

I think like February or March? You might have a gen 3 lol. No idea. Install it and boot that thing up. I'm loving mine

what other differences are there to verify GEN2? I've read almost all 200 thread pages but too much to retain. The software could always be updated so not sure if booting it up will reveal anything..
