Well, he just emailed me and said he's sending me a stock of premium cables, instead of sending them directly to you guys... Ugh. I'll get them to yoi asap. He also said they're not having any luck on a recovery mode.
He says in the email to me, that he will be sending them to me. Explained to him that I was hoping to install the unit this coming weekend...

I hope he does, I don't want to be the cause for anyone's delay, I try to keep people in motion!

Where's StangATX hiding, we need some new magical breakthroughs!

No, there are 2 RCA OUTPUTS on the harness that you install the CANBUS wires into. Look at the first post.
So this is how mine is cabled.

Are you saying what I currently have connected as Red and Black Lines is wrong? The RCAs say "AUX In".

My theory is also reinforced with the lack of a remote cable for the amp.

It's not your fault....no worries. I'll add it to the pile of parts that are waiting to go on. I still don't have my Supercharger on the car yet...

It's time for StangATX to take a vacation and work all week on this! lol

Sorry for the lackluster editing, but it's a work computer. These are the wires designed for Subwoofer out.

The unit doesn't have a remote amp wire, but you can tap into the blue/white wire on the passenger side of the trunk, near the speaker in the rear deck, that will work for remote AMP turn on.

Where is the signal for those coming from? That connector plugs into the main harness. Shouldn't we be looking for a signal coming out of the HU?

I am not trying to argue I am right but I am trying to have this make sense in my head.

In theory, yes, but until someone with an AMP hooks it up to their system, we have no way of knowing for sure. I have a powered sub in my trunk that has been sitting there for almost a year, because I keep forgetting to buy the power/ground wire, and not having the time to run the power wire, even if I had it.

It think having a third place with the information is just going to add to the confusion.
Hopefully this becomes THE place to find all the info/tutorials, as a wiki is structured much better for that kind of information.

I dont mind at all man.
Thanks, I'll put the info up on the wiki tonight!

I have the Shaker system, maybe that's why I wasn't getting audio? I'll try again when I get the new cables, hopefully that solves everything, but it looks like some further trial/error will be needed to figure it all out.

So another issues I've noticed lately that I'm wondering if anyone else has. Whenever I use the radio, there's a high frequency sound that is always in the background.

It's like that high frequency sound that some people hear whenever you turned on the older TV's, however this sound never goes away. It's only when listening to the radio, and it's any station.

One slight oddity I've noticed is when changing the preset EQ's around while the radio is playing, the sound will stop for 1-2 seconds, then come back.

Anyone have any thoughts as to what I can change to make it go away? It doesn't happen on any other audio source, but I'd really like to keep listening to the morning talk show here on the way to work lol.

For the random muting issue: Settings > System Set > Touch Sounds > Off

Then - Settings > More Settings > Sounds > Touch Sounds Off

Well, I just looked at the Wiki page, and it is structured rather nicely, I know I personally don't have time to make major updates/contributions on it, but I can definitely fine-tune some of the things like descriptions, steps on the installation instructions, and uploading screenshots/pictures. I've removed/reinstalled my unit so many times, I'm pretty sure I could walk someone through an install via text. (which I've actually done lol)
